Pop Secret’s branding and packaging needed an updated look to bring life back into their popcorn’s identity. I began by investigating their logo and deciding what changes needed to be made. I wanted to create a more sophisticated vibe overall on their packaging, and was inspired by 1920’s cinema to do just that. I began by looking at art deco style typography and began reworking the logo and packaging once I gathered enough research. My mood board expresses and explores these concepts. My research affected every choice I made afterwards and helped create a strong color, type and icon system that continues throughout the packaging.
